How to use Saava, step by step.

Every part of Saava in short walkthroughs: what it does, the steps, and the tips that make the difference. Start at the top if you’re new.

Setting up

Fill in your business profile

What you sell, who it's for, your proof and your voice. Every lead is scored and every AI message is written from this page.

  1. Open Business profile at the bottom of the menu, by Settings.
  2. Work through its four sections: Company, Ideal customer, Value & proof, and Voice & style.
  3. In Ideal customer, describe who is a great fit, who is a maybe, and who is not — the scorer reads it word for word when it grades each lead.
  4. Add real proof points (results, customers, numbers) under Value & proof, and how you like to sound under Voice & style.
  • A thin profile produces generic messages. If it isn't on this page, the AI won't say it.
  • Be as clear about who is NOT a fit as who is — it's just as useful to the scorer.
  • Changing who you sell to here also changes how your existing leads score, so revisit it when your focus shifts.

Set your targeting

The job titles, industries, locations and company sizes you sell to. Leads are found and scored against it.

  1. Open Targeting at the bottom of the menu, by Settings.
  2. Start with the job titles you target, then add industries, locations, company sizes, seniority and departments.
  3. Use Never show me for the people and companies you never want to see — competitors, students, recruiters.
  4. Press Save targeting when you're done — your changes are kept as you go, and Save starts the search.
  • Nothing is searched until you've set your targeting. Your first Save starts a search, and first leads usually arrive within the hour.
  • Later changes re-check the leads you already have, so you can refine it at any time.
  • Never show me is your strongest filter — anyone who matches it is left out.
  • Selling to more than one audience? Keep a separate targeting profile for each with New targeting.

Finding leads

Track the profiles your buyers follow

Pin competitors and industry voices. Everyone who engages with their posts is checked against your targeting, and good fits become leads.

  1. Open Tracked profiles under Intent Signals in the menu.
  2. Click Add source, paste a LinkedIn profile URL, click Verify, then Add source.
  3. Sort them with the tabs: Competitors, Teammates, Investors, Custom.
  4. Click any post under Recent posts to see the leads it found and why each one scored the way it did.
  • Engagers aren't scored until your targeting is saved — set that first.
  • Pick voices your buyers actually follow: competitors, niche creators and your own team. A big audience outside your market brings low scores.
  • On paid plans you can track as many profiles as you like; profiles that stop producing leads are checked less often on their own.
  • On the free trial, posts are read at a gentler pace, so leads from a new profile can take a while to appear.

Let AI suggest profiles to track

Describe your buyer and get LinkedIn voices worth tracking, ranked by fit.

  1. On Tracked profiles, open Find sources with AI.
  2. Choose Fill from my business profile — or Fill it in myself to try a different buyer.
  3. Check what you sell and who you want to reach, then click Find sources.
  4. Add the suggestions you like; they're tracked like any other profile.
  • Each run costs 4 credits and suggests up to 8 profiles.
  • A search from a blank form doesn't change your business profile, so it's a safe way to explore a new audience.
  • Specific beats broad: “RevOps leaders at B2B SaaS” finds better voices than “sales”.

Catch buying signals with intent monitors

Standing watches on LinkedIn. Describe a buying moment in plain English, and the people who post about it land on your board.

  1. Open Intent monitors under Intent Signals in the menu and click Add intent monitor.
  2. Give it a name and describe what needs to have happened — the event, not the person.
  3. Pick the targeting profile to score against and where to send the leads, then click Create & run.
  4. Review what it finds: fits become leads, and near-misses wait for you to Add as lead or mark Not relevant.
  • Lead with the event: “just raised a seed round”, “hiring their first SDR”, “switching CRM”. A monitor matches on what happened in a post.
  • It's a standing watch, not a search — many checks find no one. It checks LinkedIn every hour on every plan. Need leads today? Use Search.
  • Marking a match Not relevant stops that company coming back and tunes the monitor.
  • Monitors per plan: 1 on the trial and Starter, 3 on Growth, 5 on Scale.

Pull leads from one LinkedIn post

Paste a post and everyone who reacted or commented is scored against your targeting. The good fits land in a list named after the post.

  1. Open Analyze a post under Lead Search in the menu, or click Analyze post on the Tracked profiles page.
  2. Paste a link to the post. On LinkedIn, open the post's ••• menu and choose Copy link to post.
  3. Click Analyze. Leads appear over the next few minutes in a new list named after the post.
  • New leads count toward your plan, the same as leads from your tracked profiles.
  • Analyzing the same post again adds any new people to its list instead of making a second one.
  • Want every post someone writes? Track their profile instead.

Import a list you already have

Bring in leads from your own file and keep them alongside everything else.

  1. On Leads, click Import a list — or choose Import a list when you create a new lead list.
  2. Upload your file and pick the list the leads should go into.
  • Importing is free.
  • An imported list works like any other: use it as a campaign's audience.

Working your leads

Work your leads board

Every qualified lead in one place, scored against your targeting, with the reason behind each score.

  1. Open Leads in the menu. Leads are sorted by fit.
  2. Click a lead to see why it's a good lead and what they engaged with.
  3. Narrow the board with search and filters: fit range, date imported, targeting profile, list.
  4. Select leads to Add to list, Enrich, or Push to a campaign or another tool.
  • Fit bands: 90+ is a perfect fit, 75–89 strong, 70–74 good. Very weak matches we find are dropped before they reach your board.
  • Snooze, Bad fit and Mark as client move a lead off your active board.
  • The reason under each score is the quickest way to spot targeting that's off. If good people score low, fix your targeting or business profile.

Reveal emails and phone numbers

Get a lead's email or phone when you're ready to reach them another way.

  1. Open a lead and click Reveal email or Reveal phone.
  2. For many at once, select them on the board and click Enrich.
  3. Use Auto-Enrich in the Leads header to set up reveals for new leads as they arrive.
  • An email reveal costs 3 credits, a phone reveal 5.
  • Reveal the leads you'll actually contact — LinkedIn campaigns don't need an email.
  • On the trial, CSV export is limited to your top 25 leads.

Organize leads into lists

Lists group leads for a purpose — usually the audience for a campaign.

  1. Open Lead Lists (under Leads) and click New list.
  2. Choose where it fills from: Search, a tracked profile, an intent monitor, an import, or a blank list.
  3. Open the list and turn on Keep filling so new matching leads join it automatically.
  4. Click Start campaign to use it as a campaign's audience.
  • A campaign sends to the list attached to it. Keep filling is what keeps that list — and the campaign — supplied with new leads.
  • Adding leads to a campaign once is a snapshot; attaching the list keeps it fed.
  • Leads you remove from a list stay off it.

Reaching out

Connect your LinkedIn account

Campaigns send from the LinkedIn accounts you connect, each with its own daily limit.

  1. Go to Integrations → LinkedIn Outreach, or the LinkedIn Accounts tab under Campaigns.
  2. Click Add LinkedIn account, sign in, and click Connect securely.
  3. If LinkedIn sends you a verification code, enter it when asked.
  4. Set the account's daily sending limits.
  • Daily limits of 20–30 are the safe band. Setting a limit to 0 pauses that account.
  • Need to send more per day? Connect more accounts, or rent extra ones with Rent LinkedIn accounts at the bottom of the menu.
  • LinkedIn accounts per plan: 1 on the trial and Starter, 3 on Growth, 15 on Scale.

Build and launch a campaign

Pick a lead list as the audience, choose how much the AI writes, and send from your connected accounts.

  1. Open Campaigns and click Create campaign.
  2. Basics: name it. Lists: pick the lead list to send to.
  3. Sequence: choose how much AI should write — Your template, AI Hook or Full AI — then set up the connection note and follow-ups.
  4. Review, then create the campaign. You can pause, resume, add follow-ups or add leads later.
  • Your template is free. AI Hook costs 2 credits a lead, Full AI 3 a lead plus the Full AI add-on, and messages your own assistant writes through MCP Connect 0.5 a message. AI writing is free during the trial.
  • AI-written messages are only as good as your business profile.
  • A campaign showing Needs an audience has no list attached, so it can't send.
  • No idea where to start? Try a starter template: Warm intro, Direct ask, or Just connect (no note).

Review AI-written messages

With AI writing each message, drafts wait for your approval. What you see is exactly what goes out.

  1. Open Campaigns and the AI Messages tab.
  2. Read the draft and the evidence behind it, and edit anything you like.
  3. Click Approve & send, Regenerate for a fresh version, or Dismiss.
  4. Click Feedback to tell the AI what to change from now on.
  • Feedback applies to every draft written after it; Regenerate only redoes this one.
  • Regenerating is free — a draft is charged once, when it's first written.
  • Keyboard: J and K to move between drafts, A to approve, F for feedback, D to dismiss.
  • Drafts that touch a sensitive topic always wait for a person, even with auto-approve on.

Common questions

I set up an intent monitor and it hasn't found anyone

A monitor is a standing watch, not a search: it waits for someone to post the moment you described, so many checks find no one. It checks LinkedIn every hour on every plan. Make sure the description leads with the event — “hiring their first SDR” rather than “sales leaders” — and if you need leads today, use Search.

My leads score low, or the scores look wrong

Scores come from your targeting and the Ideal customer section of your business profile. Open a lead and read the reason under its score — it says what matched and what didn't. Tighten your job titles and industries and add Never show me exclusions — the page saves each change on its own, and every change re-checks the leads you already have.

New leads aren't reaching my campaign

A campaign sends to the lead list attached to it. Open that list and turn on Keep filling so new matching leads join it; adding leads by hand is a one-time snapshot.

My campaign isn't sending

Check four things: the LinkedIn account is connected and isn't waiting for a verification code; its daily limit isn't 0; the campaign has a list attached (not Needs an audience); and, if AI writes the messages, the drafts aren't sitting in AI Messages waiting for approval.

The AI messages sound generic

They're written from your business profile — fill in Value & proof and Voice & style with real specifics. Then leave Feedback on a draft you don't like: it shapes every draft written after it. Regenerate only redoes the one in front of you.

Where did my credits go?

New leads cost about 2.85 credits each on paid plans. Reveals cost 3 for an email and 5 for a phone. AI Hook costs 2 a lead, Full AI 3 a lead, and Your AI 0.5 a message; Find sources with AI costs 4 a run. Settings → Usage shows where yours went.

Leads from a profile I just added aren't showing up

Engagers aren't scored until your targeting is saved. On the free trial, posts are also read at a gentler pace, so a new profile can take a while to produce leads.

My trial stopped finding leads

A trial pauses after a few days without a login, and picks up again the next time you log in.
