Key takeaways
  • Most lists of LinkedIn buying intent tools mix three different product types: LinkedIn's own Buyer Intent, third-party signal tools that watch posts and job changes, and web intent platforms that only use LinkedIn as an ad channel.
  • Sales Navigator's Buyer Intent is not in Core and starts at Advanced, which lists at $159.99 a month per seat in the US in 2026.
  • The Sales Navigator annual discount is uneven in 2026: about 25% off on Core but only about 6% off on Advanced.
  • Signal tools like Trigify tell you who engaged and with what post, but Trigify does not run the conversation, so you still need something to send and handle replies.
  • Nearly every best-of list for this category is written by a vendor that ranks itself first, so compare tools on signal source, named people, sending and published price instead of on rank.

The best LinkedIn buying intent tool in 2026 depends on the job. Sales Navigator Advanced ($159.99 a month per seat, US list) shows LinkedIn's own Buyer Intent scores. Signal tools like Trigify (from $40 a month) and UserGems (roughly $2,750 to $3,000 a month) watch posts, comments and job changes. Web intent platforms like Bombora and 6sense track research off LinkedIn. Saava finds LinkedIn signals, scores people against your ICP and sends from your own connected account. Pick by job, not by someone's ranking.

The shortlist

Prices are US list figures as of October 2026. Where sources conflict, we say so further down.

Tool Type Best for Published price (2026)
Saava LinkedIn signals, ICP scoring and sending Small teams who want signal to message in one place Not quoted on this page
Sales Navigator Advanced LinkedIn native intent Teams already living in Sales Navigator $159.99/mo or $1,799.88/yr per seat
Trigify Third-party signal layer Teams with a sender already who need named signals Starter $40/mo, Max $199/mo
UserGems Job change and champion tracking Larger teams selling into existing customer networks About $2,750 to $3,000/mo, plus implementation
Bombora, 6sense, Demandbase Web intent pushed into LinkedIn Account-based teams running LinkedIn ads Not published in our research

What counts as a LinkedIn buying intent tool?

The phrase covers three different products. That is why roundups disagree so badly.

  1. LinkedIn-native intent. Sales Navigator Buyer Intent, plus signals from LinkedIn Ads and the Insight Tag.
  2. Third-party LinkedIn signal tools. Trigify, UserGems, Common Room, CatchIntent, Extrovert and others. They watch posts, comments, job changes and engagement.
  3. Web intent platforms that push into LinkedIn. Bombora, 6sense, Demandbase and G2. Their data comes from the wider web or publisher networks. LinkedIn is where they run ads or enrich records.

One warning before the details. Almost every best-of list we read was published by a vendor that put itself first. That includes Warmly, UserGems, Coldreach, Extrovert, CatchIntent, Hey Sid, Clearcue, SyncGTM and Satellyte. We are a vendor too, so judge us on the facts below, not the order. If you want the theory first, our LinkedIn intent data guide explains each signal type.

Each option, fairly

Saava

Saava watches LinkedIn for buying signals, scores each person against your ICP and sends outreach from the LinkedIn account or email you connect yourself. The point is that the signal, the fit check and the first message happen in one place, so a good signal does not sit in a spreadsheet for a week. That matters because timing decays fast, as we cover in speed to lead for buying signals.

Who it is a good fit for: founders and small sales teams whose buyers are active on LinkedIn and who want fewer, better-timed conversations.

Who it is not for: teams who need company-level research data from across the web, teams who only want a raw data feed into their own stack, and enterprise ABM programs built around ad spend. A web intent platform or a pure signal API will serve those better.

Sales Navigator (Advanced and up)

Buyer Intent lives in Advanced and Advanced Plus. Core does not get it. LinkedIn aggregates 180+ signals from four places:

  • LinkedIn activity: comments, reactions, follows, profile views.
  • LinkedIn ads: ad engagement and Lead Gen Form completions.
  • Messaging: InMail acceptances.
  • Off LinkedIn: website visits, via the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

Accounts are scored High, Moderate, Neutral or Negative, and signals tie to named members, not just companies. An April 2026 update added a "Viewed your company page recently" lead filter, which works whether or not the person is a saved lead. Buyer Intent Alerts need the Insight Tag installed.

What it is good at: you already pay for it, the data is first-party to LinkedIn, and it names people.

Where it falls short: every signal comes from inside LinkedIn's ecosystem. It does not tell you which companies are researching your category elsewhere on the web. One source notes it also does not show which specific competitor post someone engaged with. No plan includes email, phone or CSV export.

Trigify

Trigify monitors LinkedIn plus X, Reddit, YouTube and podcasts. Each signal resolves to a named person with the original post attached. Signal types include role changes, competitor engagement and topic posts. It offers a REST API, an MCP server and a CLI, which suits teams that build their own workflows.

Pricing per Satellyte (checked July 2026): Starter at $40 a month with 4,000 credits, 50 social profiles, 25 listening searches and 7 days of history. Max at $199 a month. Enterprise is custom. An older Clearcue listing puts the start at $149 a month, so check the vendor page.

The limit is that it is a signal layer, not a sender. It does not manage conversations or replies. Pick Trigify over Saava if you already have a sequencer you like and want the most channels covered. Our Trigify alternatives post goes further.

UserGems

UserGems tracks job changes and past champions. When a former user or buyer moves to a new company, it flags them. This is one of the strongest triggers there is, and our job-change playbook explains why the first 90 days matter.

Price is the catch. Satellyte lists Core at $2,750 a month ($33,000 a year) plus an implementation fee. Getcleed lists Core at $3,000 a month ($36,000 a year). Either way, this is a tool for teams with a large installed base of past customers to mine. Pick it over us if champion tracking is your main motion and the budget is there.

Bombora, 6sense, Demandbase and G2

These are not LinkedIn tools at heart. They detect which companies research a topic across the web or on review sites, then use LinkedIn to target ads or enrich records. They answer a different question: which accounts are in market, rather than which person just engaged. Our research did not turn up verified pricing for them. For how their data compares to first-party signals, see first-party vs third-party intent data.

Common Room, CatchIntent and Extrovert also appear on most lists. We could not verify enough about pricing or mechanics to compare them fairly here, so we have left them out of the tables.

Is Sales Navigator's Buyer Intent worth the upgrade?

Here are the 2026 US list prices per seat.

Plan Monthly Annual Annual discount Buyer Intent
Core $119.99 $1,079.88 About 25% No
Advanced $159.99 $1,799.88 About 6% Yes
Advanced Plus Quote only Quote only Unknown Yes

For a 10-rep team on annual billing, Core costs $10,798.80 and Advanced costs $17,998.80. That is $7,200 a year extra, mostly for Buyer Intent and TeamLink. Some sources argue that is a thin upgrade beyond those two features.

Two cautions. LinkedIn changes prices by region and currency without announcement, and some sources show different Advanced figures, including $154.99 and $169.99 a month. We treat $159.99 as the consensus. Some sources also say Advanced Plus starts around $1,600 per seat per year. LinkedIn publishes no figure, and that would be below Advanced's own list price, so we don't trust it. For other routes, see our Sales Navigator alternatives.

Which one should you pick?

  • You already pay for Sales Navigator Core and sell mostly on LinkedIn: test Advanced for one quarter and track meetings from intent-flagged accounts.
  • You have a sequencer and an engineer: a signal layer like Trigify fits.
  • You have thousands of past customers: UserGems, if the budget fits.
  • You run ABM with real ad spend: a web intent platform.
  • You are a small team that wants the signal acted on the same day: Saava.

Where Saava fits

Saava covers the LinkedIn signal part of this question and the step after it: scoring the person against your ICP and sending from an account you connect yourself. It does not track research across the wider web, so if that is what you need, a platform like Bombora or 6sense is the better buy. Some teams run both.

FAQ

Does Sales Navigator Core include Buyer Intent?

No. Buyer Intent starts at Advanced, which lists at $159.99 a month per seat in the US in 2026. Core does not show the buyer intent signals.

Can Sales Navigator Buyer Intent see research outside LinkedIn?

Only website visits to your own site, and only if the LinkedIn Insight Tag is installed. It does not track what companies research elsewhere on the web.

Are best-of lists for intent tools reliable?

Mostly not as rankings. Nearly every list we found was published by a vendor that ranked itself first. Use them for facts like price and signal source, then compare those yourself.

Do I need a separate tool to send messages?

With a pure signal layer like Trigify, yes, because it does not manage conversations or replies. Saava sends from the LinkedIn account or email you connect.
